Spotify playlists are love. They contain all the choices you have made so far on Spotify. When you listen to songs, of different music genres, different singers, different albums, and even different brands, you can collect them all in on single playlist.
Similarly, you can also create several playlists time and again. These playlists remain there on your Spotify and you can get access to the song of your choice immediately, rather than searching it on Spotify again and again.
Monotonous stuff, as time goes by, loses its taste. Music and art are no exception. So sometimes, you add one song to your playlist on Spotify, and then when you no more want that particular song, you just want to remove it.
Or else, you may just want to get your playlist purified of useless stuff, so you want to keep only the hot favorite ones.
If your Spotify playlist needs a few songs removed, you might do it single handedly. That being the case, you must be wondering how to remove a song from your Spotify playlist. The answer to that is even simpler than you might have expected.
How to remove the song from the Spotify playlist:
You can remove a song from your Spotify playlist, and can do it on both, your personal computer and your mobile phone. The procedure for both ids is mentioned below separately.
On PC: Step by Step Guide
From your personal computer, you can remove or delete a track from your Spotify playlist. Follow the simple blueprints that are suggested below, you will find it too easy to do.
Open your desktop Spotify app. If you have not downloaded Spotify early, but you want to remove a particular song using a desktop, you must first get it downloaded.
Now step into your Spotify profile. Check to see if you’re on Spotify’s main page, be there.
From the main interface, click on your display picture to enter the main settings of your Spotify account.
Navigate, from your main settings, the playlists option.
Track the song from the playlist you want to remove it from. You can do that by scrolling the playlists on your Spotify.
Once you have found those playlists. Open it. Now navigate the song you want to remove by scrolling down the list.
When you have found the song you do not need anymore, it will be having three dots on its right side. Click these dots to open the settings specified for that song.
Now click on the option “delete from playlist”. And confirm the removal.
That song will no longer be a part of your playlist on Spotify. The same theory can also be used to take a song off Spotify’s web version. The procedure will be no different for that.
On Mobile: Step by Step Guide
On a smartphone, you can take a few steps to remove the songs you no more need in your Spotify playlist. These steps are also applicable to Spotify on iPhone as well.
You will find it almost the same or with a few minor differences, the essence is almost the same:
As shown above, open the Spotify app and go to the playlists section. Open the playlist that contains the song that needs to be removed.
Tap on the song and when it will open, you will again see three dots.
The remaining proceeds will be the same as that of desktop Spotify. Navigate delta from the playlist option and the song will be removed forever.
